Crime and Punishment

On Tuesday, I set you the challenge of guessing the objects that were used to punish people during Tudor times. I also asked you to think about which crimes led to these punishments. I have uploaded the answers at the top of this page. I look forward to hearing how well you did.

Go outside in your garden. Put your devices, phones and consoles down and do something active:  kick a football, skip, throw a small ball against a wall and try and catch it, see how long you can hop on one leg or anything else that you can think of that means you are outside in the fresh air.

Have a lovely weekend and stay safe smiley

Homework

You will find a copy of this half term's homework in the block below. Homework is issued each Friday and should be handed in the following Wednesday. Your child will receive a homework sheet, which should be stuck into their homework books and they will be asked to complete either a piece of English or Maths homework in addition to learning their times tables and weekly spelling lists.

It is important your children complete their weekly homework tasks as this will prepare them for life at secondary school. I have also attached some supporting materials in the block below, which your children also have a hard copy of.

Thank you for your continued support.

If you would like a paper copy of any of the information below please let us know and we will be happy to provide one free of charge.
