  • Lost property

    Fri 13 Mar 2020

    Hi all!

Sometimes bags, especially kit bags, coats, jumpers and cardigans (and so on) can get lost. In order to make it easier to track down lost property, and to lower the risk of someone taking things home by accident because they look like theirs, please make sure that your child's property has their name on it.  This also makes it easier for your child to find their things and promotes their independence! It does not have to be done using sewn in labels, it can be something as simple as pen on a label already inside the object. :)

    Thank you!

  • Coming to school and going home

    Fri 07 Sep 2018 J Fieldwick - Headteacher

    Hi all.
I hope everyone's had a lovely summer holiday.
    Welcome back to school!
Just a quick message about the start and finish of the school day.

    ...

    Children in FS1, FS2, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4.
We ask parents and carers to please accompany their children to the classroom door in the mornings at the start of school. We also ask parents to collect from the classroom door at the end of the day. Siblings of 14 yrs and older are also permitted to accompany the children.

    Children in Y5 and Y6
Children in Y5 and Y6 frequently come to school and go home by themselves or in groups. That is entirely at your discretion. Whilst we recognise that many of our children are becoming more independent, we know that some parents prefer to accompany their children to and from school. If you are happy for your Y5/Y6 child to walk to and from school by themselves, there will be a permission slip coming home today for you to sign. We cannot allow Y5/6 children to walk to and from school unaccompanied unless the slip is signed.
    Thanks for your continued support.

  • Materials to help children with their homework from Exemplar Education

    Fri 07 Sep 2018 J Fieldwick - Headteacher

    07.09.18

    Hi everyone.
Exemplar Education are providing parents with home-based materials to help with children's homework.
A letter will be coming home on Monday with enclosed information to give you the opportunity to find out more. These resources may well be very beneficial for the children.
I would be very grateful if reply slips could be returned to the office or your child's class teacher no later than Thursday...even if it's a "No thanks"!
    Many thanks,...
    Julian Fieldwick - Headteacher.

    Tue 23 Jan 2018 J Fieldwick

We have been informed that Intake Farm Primary School will be inspected by Ofsted on 24th and 25th January 2018. The lead inspector will be Viv McTiffen. All pupils will bring home a letter tonight regarding the inspection. The letter will explain how you can access Parent View for you to make any comments regarding your child's education.

    Many thanks for your support.
