Reading
Please listen to your child read at least 3 times per week and record each read in their reading record with a short comment and signature.
In your child's reading record, you will find your child's book band targets which can support you with what to look out for when reading at home.
Reading Snake
Your child will receive a reading snake at the back of their reading records. Your child has the opportunity to earn up to three steps on their reading snake by reading at home. If your child completes the snake by maintaining 3 reads per week for the half term, they will receive an in-school disco. They will also receive a raffle ticket which will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a £10 voucher.
