Nursery
Intake Farm offers a wonderful nursery for children aged 3 and 4 before they begin full-time school. Children attend the nursery for either a half day in the morning or an afternoon (15 hours a week) or the full day (30 hours a week) if parents are eligible. Children are admitted into the nursery the term after they are aged 3.

The morning session times are: 8:30am - 11:30am
The afternoon session times are: 12:15pm - 3:15pm

Applying for a part-time (nursery/ FS1) school place
Our school has a wonderful Foundation Unit and children attend for half day sessions, 15 hours per week , either 3 hours each morning or 3 hours each afternoon.
Children are welcome to join us in the Foundation Nursery the term after they are aged 3 in September (Autumn Term), January (Spring Term) and April (Summer Term) or as a rising 3 if applicable (see below)
Parents who have registered their child(ren) for a part-time nursery place are contacted the term before they are due to start in the Foundation Unit and arrangements made for their child to attend induction sessions.
All sessions are held in the schools Foundation Stage Unit.
Parents/carers wishing to register their child may do so from birth by putting their child(ren) on the waiting list. To register a child for a Foundation place, please complete the application form below and return to school, or contact us on 01623 625552 for more information.

30 Hours places for 3 & 4 years old
All parents and carers who have children aged three or four are entitled to 15 hours a week funded hours.
Working parents may be entitled to 30 hours a week.
To be eligible for the increased funded hours, each parent must:
- Earn at least £120 a week
- Not earn £100,000 or more a year
People could still be eligible if they or their partner are on maternity, paternity or adoption leave, or are unable to work if they have a disability or caring responsibilities. Single parents can also apply.

Rising 3's (2 years old) We are able to welcome 2 year old children into our nursery from the term they turn 3 years old and not the term after which is normal with an eligible government childcare code. They are able to attend our nursery for 15 hours with this rising to 30 hours the term after they are 3 years old - please pop into to school or call us on 01623 625552 for more information. EXTENDED DAY PLACES FOR 15-HOUR CHILDREN If you would like your child to come to nursery all day but are not eligible for the 30-hour code we are offering extended hours at cost. Please contact the office for more details on pricing. FLEXIBLE DAYS You can use your 15-hour funding in numerous ways. You can spread them over 2 and a half days of the days of your choosing or cover the hours using some morning or afternoon sessions. Please contact me or the office for more details.
