Reading at Home

We are really missing being able to hear your child read in school with us. We would therefore love to hear about you reading at home with your child. We understand that it may be difficult to access books to be able to do this. Please use the books provided on Oxford Owl to read books at a level appropriate for your child. Please visit https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/

Your class teacher will provide you with a username and password to be able to access the books provided, free of charge. We are hoping that you are able to access this resource with your child. If you are unable to access Oxford Owl, please call into school to collect a reading book. We do ask that you take care of the books that you take from school and return these in order to exchange for a different book.

We are asking that you read at home with your child at least three times a week. Once your child has read, please write a comment into the table below and submit this to your child’s class teacher every Friday via Teams or email. If your child is in Key Stage 2, they may record their own comments in the boxes provided. If your child is in FS, please use Tapestry to submit your comments. Thank you, you are all doing such a great job and we are thankful for your continued support. Let’s get reading!!
