Today we are learning about the number 9!

Watch  Numberblocks S2:E4 Nine

 

Can you put the missing numbers back on the number line?

Can you describe where each number should go?

 

Fill a 3x3 grid with pictures or objects. What do you notice?

 

Practise saying the rhyme and drawing a number nine with different parts of your body (finger, elbow, tongue, head)

Can you make a number 9 poster?

Can you draw 9 things?

Can you write the numeral 9?

Can you write number sentence to show one more and one less than 9?

 

Can you spot number 9 around your house? (on the phone, TV remote, cereal box etc.)

  • Practise writing 'zz' with different body parts or in different places
  • Which words have a 'zz' sound?
