Our school blog

Great to be back for the start of the new school year! A couple of important letters about attendance at school and breakfast club have recently been handed out. Children will be given paper copies of all letters but we know these can sometime so missing! Please check website regularly just in case you have missed any.
The final day is here of the summer term! What a last few days it has been with the staff v pupils rounders match. The draw was a fair result! Today we say goodbye to Mr Harrison, Mrs Morgan-Ray, Miss Collier and Miss Owens. Have a great summer holiday and remember the assembly today when we talked about staying safe. Have fun everybody!
Good luck to our intrepid Year 6 children who go on their annual camp today. The weather forecast looks great! Hope you all have a brilliant time.

We have just had our Book Week and finished off with a big assembly on Friday. There were some fantastic book character outfits. See the Gallery page for pictures. Where's Wally?

Good luck to two of our children (Savanah and Liam) who are representing Mansfield at the County Cross Country Championships at Worksop College tomorrow.

Children from FS2 and Class 5 went on school trips yesterday. Please look in Gallery for pictures.

Year 4 had a fabulous Vikings day yesterday at Mansfield Museum. The children came back with BIG smiles on their faces!

Year 5 went to QE Academy today to take part in the Sports Hall Athletics competition. Every child gave 100% during the event and they were a credit to Intake Farm. Many thanks to Mrs Hall for volunteering to help-what would we do without our adult helpers?

Welcome back everybody. We hope that you all had a fabulous Christmas!

Children have been coming to school looking very smart for their parties! A big thank you to all those who've donated food, helped butter bread or wrapped presents for the children. We also appreciated Santa taking time from his busy schedule to come into school and give out presents to the children. How does he do it?

A Merry Christmas to all those associated with Intake Farm Primary School.surprise

Really good week for school attendance. The average was 96%  for the whole school which is a brilliant effort. Well done to classes 2 and 5 who share Archie the Bear this week!frown

The Christmas Concerts were all excellent. Many thanks to the children, staff and parents who performed, helped or supported.
